By your hand is the only end I foresee

Happy Hall-o-ween guiseee!

I told my friends last Saturday that I'm going to wear a t-shirt with the word 'LIFE' written on it and give out lemons to people during Halloween, and none of them get it... Like seriously??! That's like the most pure brilliant idea I've ever heard and you guys are just standing there looking at me funny? Thanks. -_-

Anyway, yesterday we hitchiked to Lekker (not really) and had lunch there. Me and Tanisha were planning to attend the Piaget Halloween thing and we decided to dress up as hipsters (not really, it was only the headband thing that made us look like one :p) but the party turned out to be a total blow and there were kids everywhere and everyone's interpretation of Halloween there is only of ghosts and pumpkins so we looked like weirdos there.

So we kinda ditched the event. We're about to attend the Sutomo's one when we called up Elsa and she said that the tickets' had sold out and she can't join us because she's watching football (seriously, dude?) and then we're about to go to the IT&B one, but we had no idea where the campus is,  so we decided to have a romantic candlelight dinner on a saturday night together for just the both of us... that until we realized that it's actually sounds pretty awkward so we call up Lidya! Which only made it become a date with a plus one. But we didn't mind :D

The desserts that we shared. These two were great!

"Cheers to Forever Alone and fail Halloween nights!"

Anyway, spent the rest of the night with Mr. Jack the Pirate right here. He was so excited to get into the picture that he kinda ruined the thing. But still I love him so. :p

Oh and check out my new tumbr oxfor-d . Since my last one was a secondary, I can't follow people there so I decided to make a new one. :D

Have an extremely terrifying Halloween everyone! Remember.... there's someone behind you....

Asleep

all pictures are from tumblr

I'm so sleepehh~~

It's insane. Probably because I've been doing my homeworks at home these past few days (ha! you heard that right! I'm usually a total slack in better days)

Anyway, as usual, school has been killing me so far, like always. Tons of homeworks, less of CT though. But of course it won't be long since we need to catch up for all of those chapters that we missed because of all the events that the school holds almost every week! (now whose fault is that??!)

No grudge to the school board though - just eternal and boiling hatred for ruining a semester of my life.

Anyway, here's a baby giraffe to cheer you up :3

I've been kinda hooked with 90210 (thanks to Yenyiyani! Brohh!)

I just have never watch any TV series until the point that I practically yell at the TV screen. It was that good! And I'm so mad when Ethan (actor: Dustin hawtie Milligan :3) decided to leave the series forever! Like, really dude? I mean his last scene was of him practically pouring his heart out and kissing Silver; that's not a goodbye at all!

I was practically sulking throughout the beginning of Season 2 because of that. But then things get a little bit better when they decided to change Lacrosse into Surfing as the school's main team sport and then this Ivy girl came - whom I love so much because she is just sooo cool - and then Liam is getting cuter and cuter episode by episode.

And I'm so shipping Liam-Naomi, unless they would continue the Ivy-shy-fangirling-over-Liam relationship which I love so much, but not if they started to officially date because that would be just so awkward.

Anyway, enough 90210 rant. I think I have some Economics homework left unfinished... gah..

Ciaoh!
I've been kinda tired lately.

I don't know. I guess it was kinda intentiona

You know those days when you just can't explain your feelings with words and all you want to do is just to be alone and listen to some songs that speak your heart out better than you do.
Well today was one of those days.

I was sick and cold and I could only wear sweaters all day because it's too fucking cold anywhere.
So here's today's playlist:

  • Tous Les Gar
-->çons Et Les Filles - Francoise Hardy
  • N
  • -->ǿrgaard - The Vaccines
  • Sand In Your Shoes - The Providence
  • Never Let You Go - Third Eye Blind
  • Someone Like You - Adele
  • No One's Better Sake - Little Joy

  • I really need to stop writing. It's unhealthy for the soul, really.

Happy belated 16th to Poppy! :)

The party was great! And I'm so sorry for looking so pale and washed out in the bash :p But still, we had a really good time!
I woke up with a terrible headache and shaking body this morning.

    Baligram

    A cute boutique in Kuta

Carrot Pineapple Walnut cake in Jenggala Cafe. Best dessert yet.

The 'sajen' in Burger King. They actually put calamari on it!

    Post surfing lesson.

A gruesome looking burger. Don't ever try this, ever!

Just a few shots I took in Bali during the last few days.

It was the 2nd time we go to Bali during the first week of October so all we did there was walk, and eat, and relax. But it was too goddamn boring for me so I try to swim in the ocean (bad decision) and took a surfing lesson (best decision). Surfing was the most fun and challenging single-person sport I have tried yet. I was trying to go for water-skiing but we didn't have enough time. Mom was so mad when I got back to the hotel after the 2nd day of my surfing lesson with my arms and legs all bruised up and scratched and my body all covered with sand and salt.

But it was fun fun fun. And I'm looking forward to surf some moree~

The typewriter my grandfather bought me for my birthday. Thank you granddad :*

    Goodafternoon!

Yesterday morning was my last morning in Bali after the five-day vacation we had there (photos coming up!) we took the noon plane to Jakarta before we could go back to Medan. It was a total of 4-hour flight not to mention the 3 hours waiting in the airport for the transit planes.

I was drained and beyond the state of exhaustion when we finally got here but mom told me I should attend the Hillsong concert since I've already bought the ticket after all.

I haven't eat or change or rest or even take a bath (!) when the driver send us to the concert venue.

    But the concert was magical.

The band played sooo amazingly well and the singers' voices are so heavenly I can't even believe that they were actually singing live!

And being in the same room with a thousand other youths who have the same faith and believe in the same God as I am gave me hope and strength and a happy feeling to know I'm not alone.
We were jumping and praying and crying and screaming out the lyrics of the songs (I've never heard any of it before the concert but it was too amazing I picked it up in that instant) and before we knew it the concert had ended :( (two encores are not enough!!)

Oh, and by the way, is it just me or I saw a familiar 'he' standing near the stage last night? I don't even know what he's doing there. I was expecting him to sing on-stage though but he did nothing except standing on the edge of the stage all night long behind the spotlight *sighs

Anyway, have a verie berrie blessed Sunday, evveryone! :D

    Cheers,
    I'm feeling very religious today.

    At the concert.

    chaussures

As you can tell, I was bored.
So here's a post fully dedicated to that little but beautiful thing that goes around your feet, that a long time ago was invented purely for the sole purpose of protecting our feet, but nowadays are used by most youth to express their personalities and style: shoes.

Here are some of my favorite pair of shoes which I like to, would like to, most probably will, or never will, wear:

    1. Doctor Martens

The closest thing I've ever been to a pair of Doc M is when I found an extremely similar pair in neon blue made by H&M. I know that it's not that hard to find the real pair, but I don't know why, I've never actually get the chance to see a Dr Mart store or at least see a pair being sell. It's frustrating really.

    2. Jeepers Creepers

The only thought I had when I first found out about Creepers is standing straight at 5'10" in flats, which is a dream to almost everyone under 5'10". My favorite Creepers so far was the one that was wore by a model backstage in London Fashion Week '11 and she said it was from Tokyo.

    3. Wedge Boots

I saw a really cute pair of this in Luxembourg. But it was too damn expensive. Wedge Boots is nice because it's not like those summery girly typical wedges, nor the flat and high boots that are so common. Oh and it has to be in black. Or floral. Anything looks good in floral.

    4. Jeffrey Campbells
I don't even like really high-heels that much (merely because I would be standing a good head taller than anyone else if I wear a pair, and it would look weird..) but Jeff Camb are just amaaazing... and come in so many different colours, I am in awe.

    5. Oxfords

My favourite. Too bad I only had a few pairs. It's extremely comfortable and light, and it's pretty.I heard Topshop has some beautiful pairs, but my favorite so far are from Zara.

    6. Giuseppe Zannoti's

First saw it in an article which was actually about Eric Daman's new collection of tights, but the shoes that were on the model attracted me more. It reminds me of the olde Mary Jane platforms but with a little modern and rebel twist.

And, of course, if we're talking about the extreme, I would so totally go for Alexander McQueen's killer heels. It's just pure brilliant! But also unwearable, not to mention incredibly priced, which is unfortunate.

I sing like a child, to keep me from dying

    Happy birthday you, moron.
